Way More than Just Cool

Hey All,
One of our gals is being humble so I'm going to do a bit of bragging for her. Julie Fingar is now the proud "owner" and race director of both Way Too Cool 50K AND American River 50 Miler. Obviously these are two of the most popular and well thought of races in the country. I just want to say a big congrats to Julie for her new "babies" and I plan to be there for her debut at both of them. Very Cool. Do you think now I can sleep in a bit instead of hitting refresh on "Way Too Cool" morning????? :)

Big Aloha,
Rod Bien

Jeff's TNF 50 Miler Report

Ran right around 8:40—not sure of the official time. Good enough for 3rd overall. Ankle held up pretty good. Course was sweet, technical, and extremely well marked. Other team news...Krissy won the 50k version overall...

Race report is on my blog:

new eco-x blog

I just wanted you all to know that I've changed the blog format on my website (eco-xsports.com).

This will be the main location to check all updates on not only eco-x events and my personal adventures, but I'll be blogging all summer re David Horton's CDT speed attempt.  David will be calling me daily (just think about that!) via satellite phone and I'll post his daily adventures and progress on the CDT this summer.  David starts on National Trails Day (06-07-08).

There is currently posted info on his CDT itinerary and P.O. drop locations as well as an example for audio blogs that will be from Horton himself - should provide some nice color commentary.

Cheers,

CZ
