And that's just what he did. Huge congrats to Hal for another smoking victory at Western States this past weekend. He ran away from some of the best 100-mile competition ever assembled and did so with class and style.
Big congrats to Krissy for a stellar 2nd place performance (13th overall). She battled hard, beat many of the sport's best runners, and smiled (almost) the whole way.
Props to Jasper for a gritty 4th place. Strong!
AJW battling knarled feet and sprinted hard to hold onto the last male qualifying spot. Top 10 streak is alive and well.
Wolfe-man (27th) did the work and finished strong, as did Godale (40th).
Great to see so many Patagonia jerseys ripping it up out there. Well done!

Very impressed with everyone from Team Patagonia. It was a rough rough day out there, but folks hung tough and came through. Congrats to everyone.

Nice work Jasper and everyone else. Being the nerdy cross country coach that I am I quickly added up team points and as Justin pointed out--Team Patagonia rolled it. Good work guys and gals and as always its an honor!
so i say to rod "yeah i sort of followed the front of the race and took video footage".
he says to me "so you're here for montrail taking video of pretty much only patagonia runners".
ouch.
it's not all about winning rod.. gosh. however - he has a point. great work team patagonia runners. pretty amazing stuff.
Can't wait to see the footage, Matt. Good point that it's not all about winning (but it sure is nice when you do, right?!)
Nice work out there team. Way to represent. I was glued to my computer all day. Once I saw Hal had a good gap, I new he just needed to run smart the remainder and not blow up.
But dang, when 2,3,4 (with Jasper in the mix) came into Hwy 49, I was on the edge of my seat. Gotta love States!
Nice work y'all.
Thanks to Hal and the intire team< for inspiring me to ron longer and train harder :) maby one day...

The Team rocked it !!
I was glad to have been a part of it and to have had a large lead by RC, I surely didn't want to be a part of that surge for 2,3,4, but what a great effort by all.
Nice to see some chatter on the blog.
